Sunday Open Chat Night with Sarah Filer

Sarah Filer, Au.D., will be joining on Sunday, November 20th at 9 p.m. EST for Sunday Open Chat Night.

Sarah Filer, Au.D. has been an audiologist for a year and a half.  She currently works part time at the Center for Sight & Hearing, a non-for-profit in Rockford, IL and part time at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital in Prairie du Sac, WI.  She received her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and her Bachelors of Science and Education at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, with a minor in music.

Dr. Filer has experience with adult and pediatric hearing testing, hearing aid fittings, and hearing aid management.  She also has experience with vestibular testing and newborn hearing screenings.   From 2008 to 2011 Dr. Filer served as an adult coordinator for the Wisconsin Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment (HIKE) Fund, which helps raise money to cover the cost of hearing aids or other assistive listening devices for children with financial need.  Dr. Filer decided to go into the field of audiology as it allows her to help others improve their quality of life, as well as work with the ever advancing field of technology.
